Lead database & segments

The analyst scores every contact; segments are saved filters you can mail, export or sync.

After each import the analyst classifies contacts in batches: interests against your taxonomy, intent (hot, warm, cold, unknown), a short persona and reason, a lead score. Segments combine these with status, tags and engagement.

Step by step

  1. 1
    Taxonomy
Lead database → propose taxonomy: the analyst suggests interest keys from your brands. Remove keys that would match everybody (your own brand name is such a key); keep keys that separate.
  2. 2
    Build a segment
Filter by status, intent, interests, score, tags, engagement; save it. Segment counts refresh nightly and on demand.
  3. 3
    Use it
Campaign recipients, automation enrolment, ads audiences and CSV export all take segments.
Example
Taxonomy for a wealth-management brand: investors, GCC investors, entrepreneurs, real assets, tax and legal, tech. The segment 'investors ≥ 60 and intent warm or hot' had 2,900 contacts and became the audience for a quarterly outlook series.
